TO REACH THE COMMUNITY CENTRE COME OFF THE A548 ONTO STATION ROAD TALACRE TAKE THE FIRST TURNING ON THE LEFT GAMFA WEN, GO TO THE VERY BOTTOM AND WE ARE THE LAST BUILDING ON THE RIGHT. ANY ONE IS WELCOME TO COME ALONG AND JOIN US. THE PICTURE ABOVE IS THE NEW COMMUNITY CENTRE BUILT IN 2006. THE CHURCH BELOW IS TALACRE METHODIST CHURCH IT WAS THE OLD COMMUNITY CENTRE, IT WAS AT ONE TIME A PRISONER OF WAR HUT, AND WAS BROUGHT TO TALACRE AND USED AS A CHURCH

 

 

 

                             TALACRE VILLAGE D-DAY CELEBRATION

                                             THANK YOU

             The street party held in the centre on Saturday the 6th of June was a great success

                                  Tickets sold up to the day raised                £77.00

                                  Raffle raised                                           £121.00

                                 Collection in the centre raised                  £172.00

This included door monies and extra roses sold. a big thank you to the person who put a £100.00  in the   box.

          A box was taken to the lodge on the coast road and raised £100.00 many thanks to you all

                          and £5 was given for roses, the total in all for the day was £475.00

                                           So the party fund made this up to £500.00

                                           Then a private donation of £50 was given

                                                    Giving a grand total of £550.00

Many thanks to all the businesses and all who gave, and those who worked hard to give all Who Attended a great day. the monies raised are going to help OUR HEROES this charity Helps all past Present service  men and women.
